For future reference, below is a list of Emacs packages I use. This list does not including org-mode which comes pre-installed in GNU Emacs and where most of my work gets done.

These are not packages but some settings I use:

I like to keep my Emacs set-up slim but tailored to my liking. Striking that fine balance between customisation and actually getting some work done is always important.
